Barak Valley Conclave
Potential, Issues & Challenges
The Conclave Date: 11 January 2024, Silchar Assam
Barak Valley Conclave is being organised to raise and address the issues and challenges of the region and create a road map by analysing the potential of the region.
This Conclave is for the region's stakeholders, the Government of Assam, political class, business houses and associations, civil organisations, academicians, social thinkers, and senior journalists.
Organisations of Barak Valley and from outside can participate to highlight their contribution to the region or various prospective contributions they can make.
The outcome of the Conclave will be submitted to the Government of Assam through the District Administration as a White paper.
Inputs on the Potential, Issues and Challenges will also be collected from the masses during the Barark Festival Media Talks initiatives.
Awards
Under the aegis of the Barak Festival the following award is being constituted namely:
1. Barak Valley Entrepreneur Award
2. Barak Valley Citizen Award
3. Barak Valley Achiever Award
4. Barak Valley Sportsperson of the Year Award
5. Barak Valley Cultural Icon of the Year Award
Interested individuals, NGOs, and organisations can register for participation. Research Students can submit and present their synopsis.
Participation is through invitation only.
