TECHNICAL COLLABORATOR (CULTURAL): KUTAPO

Kutapo Kolkata - An Odissi, Creative, Rabindrik and Folk Dance School, giving colour to life since 1996. 

Kutapo stands for 'Krishna's Ananta Roopa'

Kutapo expanded over the past few decades to incorporate the titter-tatter specks of talent from varied corners and bloomed them into elements of grace. 

The journey also stretched throughout the country and abroad - marking small but significant steps in building a wholesome cultural bubble.

HEAD (CULTURAL): MOUSUMI BANERJEE

An accomplished danseuse specialised in the classical Odissi style of dance,  Mousumi Banerjee found her dancing feet within the portals of Rourkela Orissa at the tender each of three.  She continued training under the careful guidance and watchful eyes of the renowned Gurus of Orissa, Guru Mahadev Rout and Guru Rabindra Kumar Swain.

 

Mousumi was a regular performer on national television in India under the UGC's educational programme. She has twice secured State Championship trophies in Odissi dance and has been blessed and awarded by the then erstwhile President of India Dr Shankar Dayal Sharma. Mousumi has enthralled audiences with her performances in dance dramas like KUMARSAMBHAV, KANCHI ABHIJAN, SHYAMA CHITRANGADA & CHANDALIKA.

 

The notable mixture of ethnic expertise and expressive styles drew audiences and appreciators from all over the nation as she performed with her troupe in Delhi, Mumbai, Haryana, Jaipur, UP, Orissa and Kolkata.
